Some patchy fog will linger this afternoon, but more widespread fog is expected tonight into Monday morning. Visibilities are likely to be reduced below one mile, with quarter mile or lower visibilities possible.
Isolated locations may observe temperatures at or just below freezing. If dense fog occurs in these locations, some slick spots may develop on elevated surfaces.
When encountering fog, be sure to turn on low beam headlights, slow down, and increase following distance.

Council members question Freeman

CELINA - The police department should have had 11 rifles a long time ago, interim police chief Cal Freeman told council members Monday night.
During a review of proposed budgets for the police and fire departments by the personnel and finance committee, councilmen Bill Sell and June Scott asked Freeman about the need for additional firepower. The department has four rifles but Freeman wants to buy seven more at an estimated cost of $6,500. [More]
