* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Timothy Vagedes
Timothy A. Vagedes, 54, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Houston, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Dec. 25, 2013, at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering.
He was born April 9, 1959, in Cincinnati, to Carl and Frances Jones Vagedes, who survive in Houston.
Other survivors include three daughters, Melissa Vagedes, Charleston, S.C., Andrea Roebuck, Kettering, and Laura Vagedes, Centerville; a stepson, Josh Bishop, Sidney; five grandchildren, Zaviera Brown, J'Von Crooks, Olivia Vagedes, Emilio Hall and Ayden Bishop; a sister, Teresa (Donald) Reck, Kenton; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was a 1977 graduate of Russia High School and continued studies at Wright State University in the field of political science. He was employed at C.R. Laurence Co Inc. of Cicero, Ill., and had been involved in commercial door and window sales much of his working life. He was an avid Notre Dame sports fan and enjoyed golf and fishing.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
