* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helen Kahlig
Helen B. Kahlig, 88, formerly of Coldwater, died March 31, 2014, at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born May 9, 1925, in St. Rose, to Lawrence and Mary Heitkamp Everman. On Oct. 17, 1945, she married Norbert A. Kahlig, who passed away Sept. 16, 1995.
Surviving are three children, Janice (Ken) Speck, St. Henry, Phyllis (Jim) Bodiker, Montezuma, and Jerry Kahlig, Montezuma; a son-in-law, Jerry Bertke, Fort Recovery; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Stouder, Beavercreek.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Patricia Bertke, and Karen and Sharon Kahlig; a sister, Viola (Bill) Wuebker; and two brothers, Norbert and Ronald Everman.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the ladies sodality at St. Peter Church, Fort Recovery. She retired from housekeeping at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
