* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Allen Rider
Allen L. "Red" Rider, 87, St. Marys, died at 5:15 a.m. March 29, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 5, 1927, to Levi "Bum" and Jennie Russel Rider. He married Margaret Lucille Ross on June 27, 1953, in Darke County, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 2012.
Survivors are two children, Jeffrey (Joyce) Rider, Ansonia, and Cynthia (Irvin) Coats, St. Marys; seven grandchildren, Ashley Steineke, Sara Coats, Joseph Rider, Cory Coats, Jamie Coats, Sheena Kocher and Alex Grote; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Luella Hoge, and two half-brothers, Orville Rider and Arthur Rider.
He attended St. Marys Memorial High School and retired from Hoge Lumber Company, New Knoxville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Marys and enjoyed fishing and building model trains.
Funeral rites will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Mark Foor officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association, the Epileptic Association, the Alzheimer's Foundation or the First Baptist Church in St. Marys.
