* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms are expected through Wednesday. Locally heavy rainfall and the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same areas are possible. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Charles Hicks
Charles E. "Chuck" Hicks, 53, of Uniopolis and formerly of Spencerville, was found dead in his home at 4:30 p.m. June 9, 2014.
He was born Sept. 26, 1960, in Bryan, to Oka and Dorothy Brown Hicks. His father is deceased and his mother resides in Celina.
Also surviving are two children, Melanie Desiree Hicks, Wapakoneta, and Charles "Chas" Hicks, Martin, Ky.; five grandchildren, Macy Stiles, Jacob Hicks, Mariah Hicks, Jaden Hicks and Ethan Garretson, all of Wapakoneta; his girlfriend, Rose Krauss, St. Marys; seven siblings, Burdetta Handshoe, Kendall-ville, Ind., Bonnie Harrod, Mousie, Ky., Patricia (Ellis) Green, Kendallville, Ind., Marion (Marilyn) Hicks, St. Marys, Barbara (Allen) Metcalf, Celina, Kenneth Hicks and Timothy Hicks, both of Mousie, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Hicks, Edgerton.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Candice Hicks; two brothers, Carmen and Delmas Hicks; and a brother-in-law, Thee Handshoe.
He was formerly married to Kim Hines, Wapakoneta, and Karen Williams Hall, Martin, Ky.
He had attended Spencerville Schools and later earned his GED. He was self-employed in the home improvement business and also had worked for Kiss Construction and Siding Company, Uniopolis. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. B. Shane Crites officiating.
Calling is 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
