* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Roderick Farmer
Roderick Edwin Farmer, 72, Rockford, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Oct. 2, 2014, at The Laurels of Shane Hill.
He was born March 24, 1942. in Celina, to Edwin and K. Rosalie (Williams) Farmer. He married Elsie Miller May 29, 1965 and she preceded him in death Feb. 11, 2007. He married Yvonne Beeks Oct. 7, 2007, and she survives.
Surviving are one daughter, Anita Renee (Kevin) Morton, Rockford; two stepsons, Dave (Kazumi) Grimm, Phoenix, Ariz., and Jon Grimm, Nampa, Idaho; a brother, John (Judy) Farmer, Rockford; and five grandchildren, Connor, Tessa, Duncan and Aidan Morton and Asato Grimm.
He was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Rockford High School in 1960. He then took up farming and worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Ind. He retired from that company after 20 years of service. He was also a member of the Praise Point United Brethren Church, Willshire.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Camp Cotubic, Bellefontaine.
