* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helen Hasis
Helen Janice Hasis, 92, formerly of the Rockford area, passed away at 7:14 p.m. March 10, 2015, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born in Blackcreek Township, Mercer County, on Aug. 29, 1922, to Heber A. and Hattie (Morrison) Martz. She married Glenn Eugene Hasis, who died May 16, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Elizabeth) Hasis and Terry (Shirley) Hasis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a brother, Carl Martz.
Helen was a life-long resident of Mercer County where she farmed the majority of her life with her husband. She graduated from Rockford High School. Helen worked at Heckler-Martz Cabinets and was the Mercer County clerk of courts and a secretary at Rockford High School. Helen also was a member of the Mercer County Farm Bureau.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Family and friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
