* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norman Chiles
Norman L. Chiles, 80, St. Marys, OH died 12:55 a.m. Friday June 12, 2015 at St. Marys Living Center.
He was born April 13, 1935 in St. Marys, OH to George and Daisy (Bridgeman) Chiles, Sr. On May 26, 2000 in Las Vegas, NV he married Sandra A. Sheets, who survives.
Also survived by: son Daniel (Theresa) Chiles of St. Marys, OH; son Gene (Karen) Chiles of Suffolk, VA; son Jerome Chiles of St. Marys, OH; son Johnny (Terri) Chiles of Sidney, OH; step-daughter Shannon Venrick of Springfield, OH; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Floyd Chiles of Hamilton, OH; brother George (Evelyn) Chiles, Jr.
Preceded in death by: parents George and Daisy Chiles, Sr.; former wife Janice Vogan; brother Vernon "Pete" Chiles; brother Leo Chiles; brother Nolan Chiles; sister Nellie Schrolucke; sister LaVera Davenport; sister Lillie Drummond; Margaret Leugers; sister Opal Ziegler; sister Ethel Pence; sister Beverly Chiles, sister Mabel Chiles, and two unnamed infant brothers.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1954) and attended Miami University in Oxford, OH.
Mr. Chiles retired from Iron Workers Local #290 in Dayton, OH. Through the years, he worked on many industrial projects in the construction of many large buildings in the Miami Valley.
Following retirement, he moved from Troy, OH to his home at Grand Lake St. Marys. He was a member of Franklin Lodge # 14 Free & Accepted Masons in Troy, OH and Ancient and Accepted Order of Mystic Shrine in Dayton, OH.
His favorite pastimes included watching football, fishing and riding on his pontoon boat.
Rites are scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Monday June 15, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, in St. Marys.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
