Carolyn Long
Carolyn L. Long, age 66, of Piqua, went to be with her Lord on Sunday July 19, 2015 at 7:40 PM at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy, OH.
She was born in Union City, Indiana on July 26, 1948 to the late Leonard L. and Elizabeth P. (Courtney) Edwards. She married Leslie R. Long on February 14, 2005 in Greenville, OH. He survives.
Carolyn is survived by one son: James Ingram, Kentucky; two daughters: Tammy Ludwig, Jacksonville, N.C., and Rhonda Holderman, New Lebanon, OH; one sister: Donna J. Schrichten, Goshen, OH; six grandchildren: Tess Ludwig, Richie Ludwig, Ryan and Brooklyn Holderman and Derek and Elizabeth Holderman; two great-grandchildren: Savanna Sue Holderman and Mason Holderman. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Carolyn worked for Whitefords Foods in Versailles, OH for eleven years. She was a member of the Union City Eagles Aerie #2790.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday July 23, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Palestine Cemetery, New Madison, OH with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Thursday July 23, 2015 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, OH.
