Lorraine T. Mowery-Heiland, age 86, of Celina, passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 29, 2015, at the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.

Born Oct. 3, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Francis L. & Henrietta B. Hirth Fowler. Her first Husband, John B.F. Mowery, died in May of 1998, and her second Husband, Norman E. Heiland, died in October of 2005.

Lorraine is survived by three Children: Thomas (Ersilia L.) Mowery of Van Wert, Stephen (Stephanie) Mowery of Ashland, Tennessee and Teresa Cornett of Celina, 10 Grandchildren: Sr. Nadia L. Mowery, Sonia M. Scagliola, Andria T. Mowery Temple, Thomas A. Mowery Jr., Tracy Gudeman, Stephen Mowery Jr., Rebecca Mowery, Amanda Wannemacher, Jason Foss and David Foss Jr., and 7 Great Grandchildren. A Daughter-in-law: Carol Mowery of Van Wert, Two Brothers & a Sister: Raymond Fowler of Itasca, Illinois, Edward (Sharon) Fowler of Celina and Margaret (Chuck) Muhlenkamp of Urbana, and a Brother-in-law: Carl Deitsch of Celina, also survive.

She was preceded in death by a Son: Dennis Patrick Mowery, four Brothers & Sisters: Donald Fowler, Robert Fowler, Dolores Deitsch and Rosemary Deitsch, and a Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: John Deitsch and Pat Fowler.

Lorraine retired from Huffy Bicycles in Celina after 25 years of service. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina and The Fraternal Order of Eagles #691 in Wapakoneta. Lorraine enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and loving her family and grandkids.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 5 at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, with Fr. Ken Alt, C.PP.S., presiding. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Calling Hours are 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 4 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice or C.A.L.L. Food Pantry in Celina.
