Barbara Jacobsen
Barbara Brand Jacobsen, age 63, of Waynesville, OH passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 17, 1952 in Coldwater, OH to the late Frederick and Dula (Schoenlein) Brand. She was married to Kurt Jacobsen who was the love of her life.
She is also survived by step-daughter, Elizabeth Jacobsen, step-mother-in-law Sally Jacobsen, sister-in-law, Julia Jacobsen, eleven siblings: Jane Brand, Joan (Merle) Gaaskjolen, Carolyn Bruns, George (Marcia) Brand, Ivan (Linda) Brand, Rita (Mark) Hoffman, Diana (John) Kahlig, Damian (Deb) Brand, Ed (Judy) Brand, Ken (Tina) Brand, Fred (Kristie) Brand and numerous nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by in-laws Howard & Helen (Liz) Jacobsen and Jim Bruns.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct 3, 2015, at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave, Centerville, OH 45459 from 2-4 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) charity, Solve ME/CFS Initiative at www.solvecfs.org or Solve ME/CFS Initiative, PO Box 36007, Los Angeles, CA 90036-0007.
