At 621 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Ohio City, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chattanooga, Neptune, Kossuth, State Route 116 at State Route 197, and Tama.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Harry Varvel
Harry "Junior" Varvel age 88, of Greenville and formerly of Coldwater passed away at 10:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his residence.
Junior was born June 29, 1927 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Vernon & Amanda (Butts) Varvel.
Junior is survived by his sons, Thomas Varvel of Greenville and Steve Varvel of Greenville; daughters, Connie Allread of Greenville, Sharon Adams of Union City, Ohio and Sandy Comer of Greenville; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Larry Varvel of Union City, Ohio; sister, Patty Louk of Winchester, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his 1st wife, June C. (Stephens) Varvel on June 14, 1990; 2nd wife, Effie (Fifer) Schwieterman Varvel on April 20, 2014; son, David Varvel; sons-in-law, Wayne "Red" Adams and Don Comer; great-granddaughter, Danielle Allread; brothers, William, Ralph, James, Virgil, Raymond, Newton, Melvin and Terry Varvel; and sisters, Loretta Varvel, Ruth Rench, Marie Grillot, Hazel Lewis, Betty Conrad and Barbara Melling.
Junior retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Greenville Moose and Eagles.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
