Prabhalochana "Prabha" (Velunni) Sundaram, 66, Celina, passed away at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, OH, on November 2, 2015 at 4:38 P.M.

She was born on January 8, 1949 in Nallepilly, Kerala, India. She married Dr. Appukuttan Sundaram and he survives in Celina.

Other survivors include her mother, Janaki Kandiath Arumughan, Nallepilly, Kerala, India; two sons, Subodhkumar (Nausheen) Sundaram, VA, Pramodh Sundaram, Celina; a daughter, Ranjini "Subi" Sundaram, MO; a brother, Shadan Velunni, Nallepilly, Kerala, India; two sisters, Sughanthaveni Narayanan, Nallepilly, Kerala, India, and Padmavathy Vasudevan, Dubai, UAE; a granddaughter, Laila Iqbal-Sundaram, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Velunni Arumughan.

Prabha was a member of The Hindu Temple of Dayton, Celina YMCA, AKMG, Reach Out, AAPI, India Club, Lima, and Mercer Medical Auxiliary. Prabha spent a lifetime raising her children and working as a homemaker.

Funeral services will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Priest Ramesh Rajamani officiating; where the family will receive friends from 4 – 6 P.M.

Maravu Cheyyuka service will follow at Tri-County Crematory, Lima, OH.
