Paul Jutte
Paul Jutte, age 93, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Sunday December 27, 2015 at his home.
He was born October 3, 1922 in St. Peter, Ohio to the late August & Mary (Moeder) Jutte. On January 22, 1948 he married Rita R. (Wendeln) and she died May 26, 2005.
He is survived by five children, Tom & Mary Jutte of Celina, Jim & Mary Jutte of St. Henry, Dan & Grace Jutte of Ft. Recovery, David Jutte of Coldwater and Beck & Paul Bruns of Maria Stein; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mark & Thelma Jutte of Ft. Recovery, Aloys Jutte of Osgood, August & Betty Jutte of St. Henry, Zeno Jutte of St. Henry, Leonard & Betty Jutte of Rockford, Ohio; and in-laws, Lavern Vagedes of Coldwater, Betty Jutte of Versailles, Betty Jutte of Ft. Recovery, Joseph & Marie Wendeln of Minster and Mary Lou Wendeln of Sidney.
He is preceded in death by a son Robert Jutte; a grandchild; siblings, Luke Jutte, Julius Jutte, Addy Hess, Joann & Joe Schoenherr, Esther & Bill Keller, Mary & Ed Nieberding, Luella & Delbert Barga, Helen Vagedes and Carl Jutte; and in-laws, Betty Jutte, Eugene Wendeln, Leo & Mary Ruth Wendeln, Charles & Irma Wendeln, Edward & Jean Wendeln, Armella & Barney Bruns and Viola & Florence Franck.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Philothea, the men's Holy Name of the church, V.F.W. Post #5713 Celina and American Legion Post #470 Coldwater. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII.
He worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater and was a farmer. Paul loved woodworking, fishing in Canada and his chickens.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Mary's Church, Philothea. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
