Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Leonard Zumberger
Leonard Charles Zumberger, age 90, passed away after a long illness on December 26, 2015, at Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. He was a former resident of Pavilion Nursing Home in Sidney.
Leonard was born December 9, 1925, Fort Loramie, Ohio; to the late John and Anna (Berning) Zumberger of Fort Loramie.
He is survived by brothers Albert (Wilma Everman) Zumberger and Urban Zumberger of Versailles; a sister Doris Jean Zumberger of Sidney and sister in-laws Terentia (Mangen) Zumberger of Maplewood and Eulalia (Siefring) Zumberger of Anna and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Joe, Leo, and John Zumberger; sisters Rose Stockstill, Irene Beatty, and infant Mary Zumberger; sister in-laws Emma (Guggenbiller) Zumberger and Marlene (McEldowney) Zumberger; and brother in-law Gene Stockstill.
Leonard served in the U.S. Army during World War II where he was a survivor of the "Troop Train Wreck" in Jelico, Tennessee (1944); was employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, D.E.S.C., Hobart, and Dial-A-Ride (Sidney). He was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Leonard was a very active person; he enjoyed traveling, bingo, kickball, gardening and spending time with friends and family. Leonard also loved bowling and water skiing. He was a member of the American Legion Post #215 in Sidney.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, OH with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Fort Loramie. Full military honors will be presented at the cemetery by the American Legion Post 217.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Adams Funeral Home, Sidney, OH.
