At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Carmel Williams
Carmel A. Williams age 77 of New Bremen, died on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the evening hours at her residence.
She was born on August 22, 1938 in Bombay, India. She was the daughter of Joel and Dorothy (Wright) Haslem. On May 24, 1964 she married Leonard S. Williams who died on March 4, 2015.
Survivors include her children; Joan and Mark Schwartz, Mark and Deb Williams, Della and Michael Conradi all of New Bremen and Steve and Jenny Williams of Concord, NC. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Alexis Schwartz, Chloe Schwartz, Christopher Williams, Hadley Williams, Sam Burtch and Madeline Burtch, her sister Bridget Rozario of London England and her brothers Leo Haslem and Algea Haslem, both of London, England.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and her sister Mercy Stevens.
Mrs. Williams, along with her family moved to New Bremen in 1972. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in New Bremen.
While in London, she had studied and became a registered nurse and her career continued in the health field after moving to New Bremen, first as a nursing assistant at the former Lone Pine Nursing Home in New Bremen and the Heritage Center in Minster until her retirement in 2006.
She enjoyed and dearly loved her children and grandchildren, the New Bremen community and helping others.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Peter's Church in New Bremen with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating. Inurnment will be in the German Protestant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church.
Memorials may be giving to the church memorial fund in memory of Carmel.
