Alice Quinter
Alice R. Quinter, age 91 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Celina Manor.
She was born on March 11, 1925 in Delphos, Ohio to the late Theodore & Margaret (Corb) Gerdeman. On December 30, 1950 she married Louis J. "Louie" Quinter, who died on November 13, 2013.
Survivors include her three Children, Jane (Del) Kramer, Ann (Terry) Muter and Mark (Kay) Quinter all of Celina. Four grandchildren Aaron Kramer and Jen Keller, Sean Kramer and Erin Alexander, Darren & Kristal Quinter, Abby Quinter, four great grandchildren Carrie & Cole Kramer and Addison & Braelyn Quinter, brothers & sisters-in-law Bernard (Marie) Gerdeman of Ottoville, Marty Gerdeman of Ottoville, sisters & brothers-in-law Dorothy (Eldon) Lamy of Cincinnati, Jane Fairfax of Dayton, Mary Ellen Gerdeman of Delphos and Joan (Bob) Ricker of Delphos, Bill Swick of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Kathy Quinter, sisters & brothers-in-law Roseann (Harold) Frederich, Lenore Gerdeman, Marie Swick, William Fairfax, her brother Eugene Gerdeman and her in-laws and spouses Herman (Frederica) Quinter, Irenus "Mike" (Delphina) Quinter, Hilda Quinter, Marie Jutte, Marcella (Henry) Stelzer, Malinda (Clarence) Schlarman and Voneta "Susie" Quinter.
Alice attended Delphos High School. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Celina Moose Lodge, Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 and Celina American Legion Post #210.
She retired from Huffy's after 24 years of service. Alice enjoyed her flowers, gardening, bowling, playing cards and Collecting Baskets.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
