A spectator on Saturday enjoys the Celina Flying Sportsmen's Big Bird RC Meet. Radio-control airplane pilots flocked to Bunge Park near Celina over the weekend. Club member Jim Behr said pilots from all over come to participate in the two-day event. Behr, who decided not to fly on Saturday because wind gusts made landing difficult, said he has always enjoyed the sport. "I guess it's in your blood," he said. "This hobby is so open. It's whatever you can afford, whatever you like - biplanes, warbirds, whatever. That's what's great about it. And every person is so friendly. You aren't going to find any friendlier people."
