Light snow across the area early this morning will increase in coverage and intensity toward sunrise in the I-70 corridor. This band of moderate snow will push south affecting the Tri-State region by mid morning, eventually pushing south of the area by early to mid afternoon.
Snow amounts of 1-2 inches will common for a good portion of the area on grassy surfaces, with melting on concrete surfaces limiting accumulations. Main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on mainly bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Monday morning commute.

Olive Miller
Olive Miller, age 96 of Celina, Ohio passed away at the Celina Gardens surrounded by family Nov 15, 2016 at 3:29 a.m.
She was born on June 24, 1920 in Celina, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary Jane (Granger) Anderson. On June 11, 1941, she married Kenneth L. Miller, who died Mar 25, 1986.
Surviving are two sons - Greg (Judy) Miller, Moses Lake, Washington and Milt (Linda) Miller, Celina, Ohio, a daughter Gwen (Keith) Ley, Celina, Ohio, 9 grandchildren (one deceased), 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 sister-in-laws Jeanie and Betty Anderson, both of Celina.
Deceased are 3 brothers Ralph Anderson, Byron (Garnett) Anderson, and Tom Anderson, 1 sister Thelma (Dillon) Boroff, 1 sister-in-law Beulah Anderson, and 1 grandson Scott Miller.
Olive graduated from Washington Township with the Class of 1938. She was a lifelong member of the Celina First Church of God and a member of the Ars Nova Club where she carried out her love for nature, decorating, and crafting.
Her passion in life was spending time with family and friends. She played with a ladies card club for over 50 years. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. She loved throwing her annual Halloween party for both her family and friends where lots of laughs and games were shared. One of her favorite past times was trap shooting with her family at the Mercer County Sportsmen's.
Her great-grandchildren fulfilled her final days with smiles and that's what she enjoyed the most until the end.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow services in North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
