Harrison Castlen
Harrison Fluitt Castlen was born in Columbia, South Carolina on June 30, 1951, to Colonel and Mrs. John (Irene) Castlen.
Upon graduating from high school he joined the United States Army where he served for 12 years. Harrison then became a loyal employee at Cooper Foods Processing Plant for 22.5 years before retiring.
Faith was a huge part of Harrison's life and he was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, Ohio.
He is survived by six children: Edward Hudson of South Carolina, Susan Hudson of South Carolina, Mrs. Steven (Kimberly) Carr of Celina, Ohio, Russell and Audrey Wehnes of Celina, Ohio, Jerry Wehnes of Celina, Ohio and Barbara Markham of Grand Valley, Ontario Canada. Several grandchildren: Michelle, Steven Jr., Jacqueline, Anthony, Benjamin, Rebekah, Cameron, Maddison, Joseph, Alex, Emma, Ava, Christopher, Mike, Charlotte, Kassandra, and Daniel, and a handful of great grandchildren: Makaylyn, Damian, Michael Jr., Rodney, and Jillian.
Harrison was an avid writer and dreamed of one day becoming a published author.
He was preceded in death by four wives Margaret Ann, Darlene, Alice, and Barbara, one daughter, Helen Robinson, and two grandchildren Eric and Cody.
He will forever be loved and remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11 am on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the funeral home, where military honors will be performed.
