Barry M. Gossard, 77, Saint Marys, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Saint Marys Living Center.

He was born September 15, 1939, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Cleve "Nick" and Anna (Schultz) Gossard. He married Sally Lou Edman on February 27, 1960, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, and she survives at the residence.

He is also survived by his children: Dennis (Tina) Gossard of Wapakoneta; Douglas (Joyce) Gossard of Saint Marys; Michael (Linda) Gossard of Saint Marys; Marc Gossard of Saint Marys. He is survived by six grandchildren: Ryan Gossard; Jennifer Gossard; Luke Gossard; Zachary Gossard; Harmon Gossard and Hallie Gossard. He is survived by a brother, David Gossard of Saint Marys, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Susan Gossard; by a sister-in-law, Kathleen Gossard.

Barry was a 1957 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He retired from Superior Tube Company in Wapakoneta, and later worked as a maintenance man at Holy Rosary School.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards, working on his computer, and watching sports, especially the Saint Marys Roughriders, Oakland Raiders and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Reverend Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.

Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to Holy Rosary School. Friends also may call from 9:30 A.M.-10:30 Wednesday at the funeral home.
