Wayne Fullenkamp
Wayne Fullenkamp, 73, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died August 16, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH.
He was born March 14, 1944, in Celina, OH, to the late Werner and Alvina (Jutte) Fullenkamp. On September 9, 1967, in Maria Stein, OH, he married Rose "Rosie" (Everman) Fullenkamp, who survives.
Also surviving are their four children and their spouses, Mark and Lisa Fullenkamp of Fort Recovery, OH, Joe and Jenny Fullenkamp of Coldwater, OH, John and Allison Fullenkamp of Troy, OH, and Lynn and Chad Faller of Fort Recovery, OH; his four siblings, Elaine (Lavern) Fortkamp of Vandalia, OH, Mike (Theresa) Fullenkamp of Fort Recovery, OH, Alice (Bud) Wuebker of Coldwater, OH and Edna (Gary) Dietz of Montezuma, OH; their eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his in-laws, Jerry (Ann) Everman of Maria Stein, OH, Phyllis (Jerry) Doseck of New Bremen, OH, Janice (Tom) Richardson of Elwood City, PA, Ken "Star" (Lisa) Everman of Maria Stein, OH, Abe (Angie) Everman of Maria Stein, OH, and Tom (Connie) Everman of Burkettsville, OH.
Wayne graduated from Fort Recovery High School in 1962 and then served in the Indiana National Guard. He was owner and operator of Fullenkamp Construction for over forty years. His wife, Rosie, worked on site with him for many of these years. Wayne was also engaged in farming and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, Ohio.
Wayne was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He enjoyed playing a good game of cards and meeting with the guys for morning coffee at North End Restaurant in town. Wayne was well liked by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Friends of St. Joseph Church.
