Kaiser bids adieu after seven years of service
Treasurer's post to change hands

CELINA - Retiring Mercer County Treasurer David Kaiser spent his last day in office on Friday.
He was honored by his colleagues during a Thursday afternoon open house in the county courthouse auditorium for his seven years of service.
Kaiser, R-St. Henry, chose not to run for re-election in the November general election. His successor is David Wolters, R-Maria Stein. [More]

SPENCERVILLE - Parkway stopped a two-point conversion midway through the fourth quarter to help preserve a 14-13 victory over the Spencerville Bearcats on Friday night at Memorial Field in Spencerville.

Wolters takes long road to position with county
Treasurer's post to change hands
CELINA - David Wolters, R-Maria Stein, officially becomes Mercer County's treasurer on Monday, but his pathway to office began almost two years ago.
Ohio Revised Code sets the starting day for county treasurers on the first Monday of September, Wolters said.
