Patty Raudabaugh
Patty Ann Raudabaugh, 73, of Van Wert, passed away at 7 p.m., Friday at Mercy Health (St. Rita Medical Center) in Lima.
She was born on February 1, 1944, in Van Wert the daughter of late Maurice R. and Laverne (Lawrence) Williams. On February 8, 1965, she married Edward Francis Raudabaugh who preceded her in death on August 20, 2016.
Family survivors include her step-children, Donna (Larry) Clouse and James R. Myers all of Van Wert; two sisters, Arlene Reilly of Van Wert, and Nancy (Larry) Florence of Coldwater; three brothers, Maurice L. Williams of Rockford, Bill (Barbara) Williams of Mendon, and Larry (Karen) Williams of St. Marys; and eight grandchildren, Nathan (Katie) Clouse, Dr. Kim Eickholt, Christopher Clouse, Tricia (Chris) Hughes, Lexi Myers, Andrew Myers, Vivienne Myers and Ross Myers.
Patty was a member of the first graduating class of Parkway High School in 1962. She attended Calvary Evangelical Church where she was active in the Bible study group. She was a member of Silver Sneakers and the Merry Widows.
She had worked early for Dr. and Mrs. Chrispin in Rockford, then was co-founder of Leesburg Looms. She later worked several retail positions including Walmart and Value City.
Patty was a dedicated caregiver for her husband for many years was a special grandmother supporting her grandkids in their many activities.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert with Pastor W. Clark Williman officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling hours will be Friday 3-7 at Cowan & Son Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Church.
Preferred memorials are to Community Health Professionals Hospice or Calvary Evangelical Church.
