Yvonne Adams
Yvonne D. (Wehrkamp) Adams of Celina, Ohio passed away on Dec. 17, 2017 at her residence in Celina.
She was born on July 14, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Clarence and Margaret (Argabright) Wehrkamp. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Paul Adams, who died Nov. 10, 2012.
Survivors include her three children Patricia Howard, David Adams, Pamela (Dan) Reed all of Celina, seven grandchildren; Jennifer Keller, John (Erin) Staugler, Joe Staugler, Dan (April) Adams, Kristine (Randy) Micheal, Courtney Reed, Joe Reed, and 13 great grandchildren; Jacob and Abbi Keller, Jane and Sadie Staugler, Lily & Kaylie Grimes, Rebekah and Kayla Adams, Audrey Albers, Ethan, Hailey, Trinity McCain and Randy Micheal.
Yvonne graduated from the Roosevelt High School in Dayton, with the Class of 1948. She was a nurses aide at Otis Hospital in Celina and worked part-time at the Lakeside Ceramic Shop in Celina.
She attended the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina. She was one of the original members of the Krafty Krew. Yvonne was a homemaker, a Big Reds Fan and enjoyed fishing, playing cards & spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Call Food Pantry in Celina.
