Light snow will move across the region today. While accumulations are expected to be less than an inch, the snow may cause some slick areas on roads, especially untreated ones as well as bridges and overpasses. The snow will blow around easily and occasionally reduce visibility as well, as winds will gust to 20 to 25 MPH later today.
Use extra caution if driving late this morning into the afternoon and allow extra time to reach your destination.

COLDWATER - The all-MAC girls Division IV sectional finals at Coldwater Saturday night stayed on script with the higher seeded teams advancing on to the District Semifinals.
New Bremen held off a determined Marion Local squad, 44-34 to claim one sectional title, while top-seeded Minster jumped on New Knoxville early and rolled to a 61-27 win in the nightcap. [More]

Deputies arrest man for parole violation
ROCKFORD - A Rockford man was arrested on Friday after drugs were found in his home.
Jonathan R. Dooley, 28, was arrested for violating his parole, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office news release. Additional charges are pending review from the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
