Linda Louise Bruns, age 79 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday March 17, 2018 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Celina.

She was born on November 24, 1938, in Celina, Ohio to the late Wilbur R. and Nadine (Smith) Bruns.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Whyte and three brothers Donald Bruns, Richard Bruns and Dennis Bruns.

Survivors include her daughters Julie (Rev. Jon) Kraner of Celina, Liana Whyte of South Carolina, grandchildren Adam and Sam Sites, Jessica Whyte and Rose Kraner and six step grandchildren: Amy Luthanen, Andy (Sarah Valentine) Kraner, Angela (Greg Schweizer) Kraner, Ashley Kraner, Rebecca May and Caleb Kraner.

Linda retired as a Master Claims Representative from the Celina Insurance Group, she was formerly retired from the Central Mutual Insurance Company in 1994. She also worked for the Fireman's Fund and the Shelby Mutual Insurance Companies.

Linda was a former member of the National Association of Insurance Women. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina where she served on the Communion Service Group and as a Mass Commentator.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Vince Wirtner C.PP.S. officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 20, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the I.C. Endowment Fund and State of the Heart Hospice of Mercer County.
