Aaron Rose
Aaron M. Rose, age 40, of St. Sebastian, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born May 4, 1977 in St. Marys to Gary Rose of St. Sebastian and the late Joyce (Overman) Rose. He married Kendra Kremer on June 14, 2003 and she survives in St. Sebastian.
He is survived by his children: Mason, Hanna, and Jalen; siblings: Jesse (Karen) Rose of St. Sebastian, Kristina (Brian) Heitkamp of Dayton, Jonathan Rose of Chickasaw, Jennifer (Bob) Wuebker of Chickasaw; parents in-law: Gary & Helen Kremer of Maria Stein; and in-laws: Kelly & Chris Homan of Plain City, Kristy & Matt Eifert of Maria Stein, and Scott & Mindy Kremer of Coldwater.
Aaron was a faithful and devout member of St. Sebastian Church where he was a CCD teacher and President of the Men's Sodality. He previously served as the Parish Council President, and was integral in starting the annual Fish Fry fundraiser.
Aaron also was a salesman for Doebler Seeds, a current officer of the Marion Local athletic boosters and 8th grade girls' basketball coach. He formerly worked at the Miami County ESC, and Fort Loramie Elementary School as a sixth grade Science teacher, and was a football and basketball coach. He currently worked as the Director of the Alternative School at Mercer County ESC, and was a part-time grain farmer.
Aaron dearly loved and adored his children, working on their 4-H projects, helping with nightly homework, and watching them play sports. He encouraged their participation in many activities. Aaron enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, taking camping trips and laughing! He was a friend to all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be directed to the Rose Children's Education fund to be established at Osgood State Bank.
