Joan Reigelsperger
Joan I. Reigelsperger, age 83, of Coldwater, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born April 18, 1935 in St. Henry, to the late Ray & Hilda (Schulte) Heitkamp. On August 20, 1955 she married Louie Reigelsperger and he died November 27, 1991.
She is survived by her children, Linda & Kurt McAfee, Deb & Mark Schroyer, Jodie & Steve Lange and Sandy Collinsworth all of Coldwater; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Ivo & Mildred Heitkamp of St. Henry, Mary Alice Ahrns of Cassella, Thelma Heitkamp of St. Marys, Rose Ann & Ivo Schmidt of Coldwater, Dorothy & Art Brunswick of Beavercreek, Charlene & Donald Mikesell of Greenville, Ruth Frantz of Kettering, Alvin & Linda Heitkamp Coldwater, Daniel Heitkamp of Dayton and Rita Reigelsperger of Uniopolis.
Joan is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws Lucille & Kenneth Kessen, Lavern Heitkamp, Louis Heitkamp, David Heitkamp, Julius Ahrns, Mary Ann & Victor Schmackers, Tillie Brandt, Paul Reigelsperger, Clarence & Alma Reigelsperger and Urban & Jean Reigelsperger.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the St. Ann Altar Rosary Sodality, and retired from Hemmelgarn's in Philothea. Joan was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday and 9 to 10 am on Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
