* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ashley Meiss-Lewis
Ashley Elizabeth Meiss-Lewis, age 31 has returned to her heavenly home.
Ashley was born in Van Wert, Ohio, to Thomas and Susan Lewis.
She was a very loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and friend. Ashley served our country as a US Army Military Police Veteran stationed in Iraq, Romania and Germany earning the rank of Sergeant. The most important part of her life was her family. Ashley loved spending time with her children, pets and many friends. She also enjoyed hiking, running, and fishing.
Surviving are her parents Sue Lewis, Thomas Lewis, step-mother Arlene Lee, her children, Lewis Meiss, Isabelle Meiss; siblings, Jason Lewis, Justin Lewis, Christopher Lewis with fiancee Jessica Carboni, step-brothers Brandon Lee and Hunter Burley and grandparents Mary Baucher and Sandra Lewis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN.
The family will also be receiving Ashley's friends at the American Legion Post 47,601 Reed Road, Fort Wayne, IN from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Donations may be made to Ashley's Memorial Fund to benefit her children.
Ashley leaves us rich in memories of her kindness, beautiful smile, wit and willingness to help anyone in need. Heaven has gained a true Angel.
