Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Little remained of a bedroom in the Cheryl Martinez home on State Route 49 near St. Anthony after a tornado swept through the area. The storm also tore off the walls of the living room and destroyed the garage.
