Douglas Uhlenhake
It is with sadness we share the news of the passing of our beloved Douglas James Uhlenhake on November 17, 2018. Doug was born in Celina, Ohio on June 19, 1964 to Jim and Ronda (Culver) Uhlenhake.
Doug is survived by many who loved and will miss his happy heart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Jeff (Angie) Uhlenhake, his sister Debby (Chris) Schell, his niece and nephews, Jake, Ben, and Allie Uhlenhake and Jack, Nick, and Joe Schell, as well as friends and coworkers.
Doug attended The Ohio State School for the Blind and later graduated from Newark Catholic High School. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Operations Management. He worked for the City of Columbus in their Department of Technology.
He had a great passion for music, photography, technology, and woodworking. He never lost his love for learning about new things. Doug absolutely loved Elvis, Ricky Nelson, and television classics. Everyone who knew Doug enjoyed his silly antics and sense of humor, his fierce integrity and his love of family and friends. We hold comfort knowing that Doug is out of pain and now unencumbered to fulfill all his dreams.
