Mary Kay Purdy
Mary Kay Purdy, 73, of Fort Wayne, (Formerly of Coldwater) passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her residence.
She was born August 18, 1945, in Celina, to the late Fred & Bessie Pearl (Fett) Hullinger.
Mary Kay married Jerald A. "Jerry" Purdy on June 24, 1967. He survives with their two daughters: Sarah Ambrose and Jennifer (Kraig) Tobin, and four grandchildren: Dora & Nathan Ambrose and Isabel & Michael Tobin, all of Fort Wayne; her sister, Patricia (Doyle) Wheeler of Amarillo, Texas, and sister-in-law, Pat Hullinger, of Saint Paris.
Preceding her in death were four brothers & a sister: Frank "Chuck" (Mary Ann) Hullinger, Fred (Edna) Hullinger Jr., Dick (Louise) Hullinger, Carol (Joe) Bill, and James Hullinger.
Mary Kay retired as the Owner and Operator of Mercer County Awards and Bargain Hunter Printing, of Coldwater. A 1963 graduate of Celina High School, Mary Kay enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, gardening, and crocheting. She attended Grace Point Church in Fort Wayne.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 11, at Grace Missionary Church in Celina, with Pastor Steve Howell officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling Hours are 4:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, December 10, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, and an hour prior to services on Tuesday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne or Grace Missionary Church, Celina.
