* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

CELINA - Officials are in full-on election mode as early voting for the Nov. 5 general election got underway last week.
Mercer County Board of Elections members this election are rolling out new voting equipment, a ballot-marking system from Election Systems & Software. It entails 160 ballot-marking devices, 24 scanners/ballot boxes and one high-speed scanner for the office. [More]

Celina opens postseason with sweep of Napoleon
CELINA - Solid serving runs each set allowed Celina to fend off a feisty group from Napoleon and win the Division II volleyball tournament opener with a 25-18, 25-16, 25-18 sweep at the Intermediate School gymnasium on Tuesday.

On a night of sweeps for area volleyball teams in tournament action, Marion Local did its part.
The third-seeded Flyers opened Division IV postseason play with three straight 25-7 victories over 14th-seeded Upper Scioto Valley at the Hangar.
ROCKFORD - On Tuesday, 12th-seeded Temple Christian visited sixth-seeded Parkway in the Division IV tournament opener.
This one went pretty much as expected.
