Woman faces murder charge

ST. MARYS - A St. Marys woman was arrested for murder early Saturday morning after a reported shooting in the Sandy Beach area.
Stephanie L. Sweigart, 30, was arrested and is being held without bond on a first-degree felony murder charge, according to the Auglaize County jail website.
Auglaize County Sheriff's deputies and St. Marys police responded to a reported shooting west of St. Marys in the Sandy Beach area at 3:32 a.m. Saturday, according to an Auglaize County Sheriff's Office news release.
Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found Wesley A. Sweigart, 36, dead inside the residence. Auglaize County Coroner Jason Stienecker ordered that he be transported to the Lucas County Coroner's Office to undergo an autopsy. Stephanie Sweigart was taken into custody.
Also assisting at the scene were St. Marys Emergency Medical Services, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Auglaize County Prosecutor's Office, the release stated.
The investigation is reportedly in the very early stages, and the release stated that no further comment would be made at this time.
