The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Naumann wins tour stop at Oaks

St. Henry's Ellen Naumann won her age division match via tiebreaker as the Lima Junior Golf Association summer tour played at The Oaks in Lima on Tuesday.
Naumann and Kalida's Grace Miller each shot a 5-over 77 in the girls' 16-18 division. Going with a scorecard tiebreaker, Naumann got the nod for her first victory on the summer tour.
Fort Recovery's Jalyn Bruns was fifth with an 83. Minster's Layne Voisard (91) took ninth, Coldwater's Laney Finke (94) was 11th and St. Henry's Courtney Clune (106) 16th.
In the boys' 16-18 division, St. Marys' Reese Sweigart was 14th with an 88. Parkway's Kaden Boroff was 19th with a 106 and Coldwater's Hayden Beougher was 20th with a 111. Ottawa-Glandorf's Parker Schomaeker won with a 1-over 73.
In the boys' 14-15 group, Minster's Louis Magoto finished fifth with a 93.
The summer tour stops in Celina on Thursday at the Celina Lynx Golf Club.
