* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas James
Thomas V. James, age 57, died August 16, 2020 at Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born April 21, 1963 in Coldwater to the late Lowell Mac & Alice (Riesen) James. On August 24, 1985 he married Cindy (Hartings) and she survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by three sons, Tyler & Emily James and their children Louisa & Mac of Cincinnati, Toby & Brittany James of Columbus and Trey James of Coldwater; sisters, Jill & Dave Bruns, Judy & Randy Sudhoff, Jane & Mike Dingledine and Julie & Mike Klosterman all of Coldwater; parents-in-law Linus & Carol Hartings of Coldwater; and in-laws, Pam & Rod Erickson of Columbus, Rick & Patty Hartings of Coldwater and Deb & Scott Riedel of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by a brother Tim James.
Tom was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and currently served on the Coldwater Village Council. He worked at Kerns Chevrolet in Celina, was active with Coldwater baseball, followed Notre Dame football and the New York Yankees baseball team. Tom loved being with his family and young grandchildren and spending time on Lake James with family and friends.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church with no public viewing. Livestream will be at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online.
Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Hogenkamp Funeral Home Coldwater is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
