Mary Ann was a 1966 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She pursued nurses' training in Dayton, Ohio and used this later in life when she worked for many years in the OB unit at a hospital in Phoenix.
After a lengthy bout with cancer in the 1970's, Mary moved to Arizona and met and married Frank. She was for 30 years our "hotel" in Arizona and hosted most of the family at one time or another.
She had a great writing skill and won a Christmas Story Writing Contest for the Phoenix Sun. She loved the "Suns" basketball team, and was a great admirer of both Anthony Bourdain and Anderson Cooper. She was lovely, non-judgmental, and will be sorely missed.
Mary chose to be cremated and a private family memorial will be held in the summer of 2021.
