At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Virginia Schlater
Virginia M. Schlater, age 87, of New Weston, Ohio, died on June 16, 2021 at Versailles Rehab.
She was born June 17, 1933 in Celina, Ohio to the late Oscar & Anna (Heinrich) Feltz. She married Earl Schlater on February 24, 1962 and he passed on July 16, 2016.
She is survived by four children: Sandra Weidenborner of Osgood, Thomas & Sherry Schlater of Moorcraft, Wyoming, Kathleen & Neal Homan of Minster, Joann & Kevin Beck of Covington; eight grandchildren: Katie, Hunter, Jacob, Parker, Tommy, Nick, Nathan, Colin and Paige; siblings, Donald Feltz of Coldwater, Barbara Wenning of McCartyville, in laws: Betty Feltz of St. Henry, Kathy Feltz of Coldwater, Louis Schlater of North Star, Ken Schlater of St. Henry, Marilyn & Paul Braun of Ft. Recovery, Melvin & Pat Schlater of Vandalia, Donald & Margaret Schlater of Worthington, Betty & Paul Sherman of Russia, and Velma Schlater of North Star.
She is preceded in death by a granddaughter Megan, a son-in-law Albert Weidenborner, siblings and in-laws: Tony Feltz, Harold Feltz, Wilbur & Alice Feltz, Alice Feltz, Eugene Boeckman, Ken Wenning, Irene Schlater, Marilyn Schlater, and Edmund Schlater.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville and the Ladies Auxiliary at the church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville.
Friends may call on Monday, June 21 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
