Secretary of State speaks in Celina

CELINA - Ohio in 2020 held the most successful election in state history, Secretary of State Frank LaRose told a small group of Mercer County agriculture and Farm Bureau officials Thursday afternoon.
"Last year's election by any metric you can look at was the highest turnout we've ever had," he said during a stop in Celina on his way to the Auglaize County Fair in Wapakoneta. [More]

Number of cases continues to climb
WAPAKONETA - Auglaize County Health Department officials are imploring residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19, as 12 new cases reported on Thursday raised the county's cumulative case count to 3,767.
CELINA - Celina City Schools building project is slated for official approval at the next meeting of the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, school officials said Thursday.
The Nov. 2 general election in Mercer County will feature contested township trustee, village council and board of education races as well as numerous issues, pending the certification of petitions by elections officials.
