* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Scherer
Ronald D. Scherer, age 67, of St. Henry, Ohio, died on Monday, November 15, 2021, at his residence in St. Henry.
He was born October 11, 1954, in Sidney, Ohio to the late Dale & Dora (Fridley) Scherer. On October 26, 1996, he married Vickie (Schwieterman) Scherer, and she survives in St. Henry.
Ron is survived by his two children: Renee Geise, and Derek & Danielle Scherer all of Sidney, two step-daughters, Rachel & Sean Couse of Minster, and Jenny & Doug Schwartz of Powell; 13 grandchildren: McKayla, Dylan, Ashlyn, Jaret, Trenton, Logan, Amelia, Chase, Caleb, Chloe, Beckham, Vivian, and Elouise, his brother and sister-in-law, Rick & Gloria Scherer and nephew Bryan Scherer all of Sidney, and in-laws: Jeff & Judy Schwieterman of St. Henry, Nancy & Joe Rios of Coldwater, Chris Schwieterman of St. Henry, Sandy & Jim Walterbusch of Minster, Rob & Patsy Schwieterman of St. Henry, and Brian & Amy Schwieterman of Burkettsville.
Ron was a businessman who worked in finances and sales.
As per Ron's wishes, his memorial services will be private. The Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry is assisting the family.
