Jeremy Leonard
Jeremy J. Leonard, 46, of Celina, died 6:07 A.M. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, from COVID 19.
He was born September 10, 1975, in Coldwater, Ohio, the son of Daniel and Laura (Ackley) Leonard. He married Jodi Hardin on April 18, 1997, in Celina, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his parents; Daniel and Laura Leonard of Celina; by his children: Tarra (Lily) Keeling of Celina; Abbie Leonard of Celina; Noah Leonard of Celina; by his grandchildren: Emma Keeling and Asher Keeling; by his father-in-law, Mike Hardin of Wapakoneta; by his siblings: Brian (Jennifer) Leonard of Celina; Amanda Hatfield of Celina; by his 13 nieces and nephews; by Jodi's siblings: Kim (Dan) Boltz of Celina; Toby (Tracey) Hardin of Greenfield, Indiana; Shane Hardin of Wapakoneta. He is survived by his aunts and uncles including: Dave (Peggy) Ackley of St. Marys; Spike (Brenda) Ackley of St. Marys; Shawn (Kathy) Ackley of St. Marys; Becky (Leon) Ernst of Coldwater; Deb (Clem) Ralston of Mendon; Cindy (Fred) Pizana of Ligonier, Indiana; Terry (Becky) Leonard of Celina; Steve (Ranee) Leonard of Celina.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emma Leonard; by his mother-in-law, Susan Hardin; by an aunt, Susanna Leonard; by his grandparents, Dale and Mary Leonard; Cloyd and Jean Ackley.
Jeremy was a 1994 graduate of Celina High School. He was employed at Honda of America in Anna. Jeremy was a sensei at Celina Martial Arts Center, and also an ordained minister. He was a huge part of the ministry at New Start Church of God in Celina where he played drums with the worship team and also ran the sound board and video presentations. He will be remembered as a very loving, caring person who didn't judge others, and he was very dedicated to his family, Honda, and teaching karate.
Funeral rites will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Pastor John Mobley, officiant.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either New Start Church of God or Celina Martial Arts Center.
The family would like to ask that all attendees please wear a mask to try and keep everyone safe from COVID.
