* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Constance Jackson
Constance Ilene Jackson, 94, of Rockford passed away at 3:58 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022 at her daughter's residence in Van Wert.
She was born on March 14, 1928, in Liberty Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Urban and Luetta (Willrath) Hoenie. On November 16, 1946, she married Charles M. Jackson, who passed away on July 5, 2007.
Constance was a 1946 graduate of Celina High School. She worked at a telephone company in Fort Wayne prior to beginning work as an operator for the town of Rockford. After retirement from Sprint, formerly the Rockford Telephone Company, Constance went on to open her own dry cleaning business. Then she worked as a Union Steward at Tu-Way Products. Constance was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church. Many people spoke of her baking skills. She was known as a great cake and pie baker, and decorated many beautiful cakes for birthdays in her family.
Surviving are two sons; Joe (Ann) Jackson of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, and Brent Jackson of Rockford, two daughters; Ruth Ann (Dan) Swander of Rockford, and Michelle Ilene Jackson of Van Wert, one sister; Mary Jane (William) Kline of New Haven, Indiana, one sister-in-law; Nancy Hoenie of Columbus, seven grandchildren; Adam Swander, Annette Swander, John Jackson, Jamie (Jackson) Burger, Margaret (Jackson) Williams, Kyle Jackson, and Jake Jackson, and five great-grandchildren; Kinley Burger, Knox Burger, R. J. Williams, Poppy Williams, and Liam Jackson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Constance was preceded in death by one brother; David Hoenie, one sister; Kay Stanford, and one granddaughter; Marsha Swander.
Services were held at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, Monday, March 21, 2022 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Adam Poe officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford, OH 45882.
Family and friends were received on Monday, March 21 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Constance's memory may be sent to Everheart Hospice, 1350 North Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
