* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Carol Bishir
Carol Jean Bishir, 87, Marion, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 7:40 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Marion Health in Marion.
She was born in New Knoxville, Ohio, on Thursday, May 31, 1934, to Leonard and Martha (Hoelscher) Schroer. On May 5, 1956, she married Philip Eugene Bishir, and he preceded her in death.
  Carol graduated from New Knoxville High School and attended Indiana Business College, where she received her Associate's degree. She was a nurse for 25 years with Marion General Hospital. Carol was a member of Twin City Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, and traveling, especially going on cruises.
Survivors include her sons, Darl Wayne (Kathy) Bishir of St. Marys, OH, and Alan (Vicki) Bishir of Gas City; daughter, Donna (Greg) Maynard of Gas City; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Lee Collier Schroer; and sister, Connie Opperman of Celina, OH.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Twin City Bible Baptist Church, 7252 S. Meridian St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Carol's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dale Schuiteman officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
