Linda Maier
Linda M. Maier, 70, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born on May 28, 1951 in Union City, Indiana, to the late Paul and Martha (Cochran) Kuhnle. On September 23, 1998 she married Dallas Maier, who survives living in Celina.
Linda is survived by her two children Rick Wilcutt of Lima and Tara (Steve) Gardner of Hastings, FL, three step children Mark (Lorraine) Maier of Chillicothe, Sheryl (Mike) Hertenstein of Celina, Lisa (John) Robbins of Bryant, Indiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Kali Wilcutt, Dev Wilcutt, Dillion Wilcutt, Rickey Wilcutt, Jenna Gardner, Maverick Gardner, seven step grandchildren; Sam (Katie) Maier of Chillicothe, Nicole (Andrew) Maurer of Lorain, Eric (Leah) Hertenstein of Findlay, Stacy (Tony) Rice of Columbus, Rachel Hertenstein of Columbus, Sydney (Thomas) Noble of Portland, IN, Isaac Robbins of Bryant, IN and twelve step great grandchildren; Caleb, Joshua, Hannah, Sophia, Claire, Avery, Arianna, Belle, Rosaline, Evan, Will and Maizie. Her brother Lyle Cochran survives living in Rossburg and her two sisters and brother-in-law Wanda Arnold of Union City and Carol (Keith) O'Connor of Greenville. Linda has also been survived by two sisters-in-law Mary Jo Colson, Phyllis Maier both of Celina, two brothers-in-law Jerry Salyer and Richard (Pat) Maier of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Bonnie Salyer, Karen Harckom, sister -in-law Ruth (Cletus) Stoepfel and two brothers-in-law Jim (Shirley) Maier and Robert Maier.
Linda graduated from the Union City High School, with the class of 1969. She was a Machine Operator for Huffy's Bicycle in Celina for thirty years. After retiring she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Celina Fraternal Order of Eagles #1291 and a member of the Mercer County Sportsman Association.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Maier residence in Celina to "Remember the Good Times." Linda will be laid to rest in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
