James Naugle
James Naugle, 68, of Lima, OH died Wednesday November 2, 2022 at VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH.
He was born May 9, 1954 in Bellefontaine, OH to Gwin "Booney" Frye and Constance "Connie" Naugle.
Survived by: daughter Angela (Steve) Poindexter of Wolcott, IN, daughter Christina (Andy Gruver) Myers of Lafayette, IN, grandchildren: Zachary (Abby) Albin, Skyler (Rachel) Viray, Aubrey Viray, great-grandchildren: Sophie, Calliope, Myles, Ivory, and Walker, sister Tonya Coldiron of St. Marys, OH, sister Dorothy (Mike) Baker of St. Marys, OH, sister Penny (Larry) Crouse of St. Marys, OH, sister Jackie (Bobby) Henning of St. Marys, OH, sister Debbie Dolence of Pontiac, MI, brother Michael (Jenny) Eberle of St. Marys, OH, brother Tony Frye of Pontiac, MI and Numerous nieces and nephew.
Preceded in death by: father Gwin "Booney" Frye; mother Constance Eberle; brother Marty Freytag; sister Deondra Eberle; step-father Albert Freytag; brother-in-law Ernie Coldiron; nephew Matt Green; brother-in-law Ed Green.
A proud American, he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He attended St. Marys Memorial High School and was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wilmington College, where he earned an associate's degree in human services and a bachelor's degree in psychology/sociology.
He had worked as a welder at Haulette Mfg. in Celina, OH and a security guard at St. Marys Foundry Co. In addition, he had owned and operated his own construction company for a number of years.
Services are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Burial, with graveside military honors, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
