WAPAKONETA - Auglaize County Board of Health members discussed an amoxicillin shortage and pandemic fatigue affecting vaccinations during their Tuesday morning meeting.
According to epidemiologist Natalie Hicks, amoxicillin has increased in sales 65% this flu and RSV season. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic medication used to treat a number of bacterial infections. [More]

ST. MARYS - City council members approved numerous emergency wage ordinances during their first meeting of the year on Monday.
The emergency ordinances were passed under suspension of the rules requiring three public readings. All wage ordinances are retroactive to Jan. 2.
CELINA - Mercer County commissioners during their Tuesday morning meeting approved the 2023 county budget, which totals over $79.43 million.
Commissioners increased the county's total appropriations by 4.1% and approved the $79,435,855.65 budget.
FORT RECOVERY - Fort Recovery board of education members approved numerous first-of-the-year items during their Monday evening meeting.

Wildcats sharp on both ends in win over Bulldogs
MINSTER - Minster's defense kept Celina from even taking shots for much of the game, and the Wildcats did enough on offense to get a win.
Minster took a double-digit lead into halftime and pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 47-22 girls basketball win at Wildcat Gymnasium on Tuesday.
