* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Violet Braun

Violet F. Braun, 89, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

She is survived by her 4 sons, Jerry Braun of Celina, OH, Sam Braun and Randy (Kelli) Braun both of Decatur, IN, Chris (Amy) Braun of Fort Wayne, IN; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 3:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with visitation an hour prior from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Burial burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Eleos Hospice or St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
