Margaret Fiely
Margaret Ruth (VonderHaar) Fiely, 92 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 26, 2023, at 7:25 AM at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center.
Margaret was born October 19, 1930, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Otto B. and Blanche (Shumaker) VonderHaar.
Margaret is survived by her children and spouses, Susan and Tom Georg of Celina, David and Beth Fiely of Greenville, Ted and Misty Fiely of Troy, and Jane and David Holtgrefe of Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Margaret was a homemaker, and she dearly loved her family. Margaret was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Louis C. "Lou" Fiely on December 23, 2022, whom she married May 2, 1953; and her brother; Bernard VonderHaar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 31, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church 233 West Third Street, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Matt Feist Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Friday March 31, 2023, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brethren Retirement Community Resident Aid Fund.
