* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1003 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Billy Gertz
Billy D. Gertz, 80, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home in Celina.
He was born December 30, 1942 in Celina to the late Carl P. and Verlie V. (Steele) Gertz. On June 19, 2016 he married Joyce (Isbell) Gertz and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his daughter, Melissa (Per) Worm, Florida; six stepchildren; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Zachariah; and eight, step-grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by a son, Jason Gertz; and a sister, Connie Grossnickle.
Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Huffy Bicycle Corporation in Celina after 38 years of service. He enjoyed camping at River Trail Campground in Mendon and spending time with his family and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Gertz family.
